Size Guide

Why size matters

A ring that fits feels effortless. Too loose and it slips; too tight and it pinches. Every Solara & DP ring featuring GRA-Certified Moissanite deserves a correct size — measure first, or try on in Jordan (check stock on the product page).

How to measure

Method 1 — Existing ring (most reliable)

  1. Use a ring that already fits the same finger.
  2. Measure the inside diameter across the centre (mm). Do not measure the outer edge.
  3. Match the table below (HK / US).
  4. Pick that size on the product page at solaradp.com.

Tip: measure 2–3 times and average.

Method 2 — Paper strip / soft tape

  1. Cut a thin strip (~3–5 mm wide) or use a soft tape.
  2. Wrap the widest part of the finger (usually near the knuckle) — snug, not tight.
  3. Mark the overlap; lay flat and measure circumference (mm).
  4. Match the table.

Tips: fingers swell in the evening — measure then; cold hands may size small; wide bands often need half a size up.

Ring size table — HK / US

HK US (approx.) Inside Ø (mm) Circumference (mm)
8 4.5 15.3 ~48
9 5 15.7 ~49–50
10 5.5 16.1 ~51
11 6 16.5 ~52
12 6.5 16.9 ~53–54
13 7 17.3 ~54–55
14 7.5 17.7 ~56
15 8 18.1 ~57
16 8.5 18.5 ~58–59
17 9 18.9 ~60

Common everyday women’s sizes in HK are roughly HK 9–14. Figures are industry approximations — live product variants and in-store try-on win. Men’s / wide pavé bands may need a larger size.

Quick tips

  • Daily wear → size that clears the knuckle and sits firm at the base.
  • Wide / thick settings → often +½ size vs a thin band.
  • Knuckle larger than base → size for the knuckle.
  • Gift unknown size → ask their usual HK size, or invite them to Jordan.
